You are His reason for the SEASON!

 


He came to heal us.  He came to give us good news.  He came to show us that we were not alone, not on our own.  He let us know that we had a Father who cared and loved us.  He came to show us kindness and grace.  He came so we can exist in peace with God, with ourselves, and with others.  He came to change the course of history.  He came to change B.C. to A.D.

He did it all for you and He did it all for me.  He is Love, and Love is not selfish.  He didn't come demanding anything.  He came to give all that He has.

The message of Christmas is not a message that asks anything of us.  It's a message of God loving the whole world, all of us.  It's a message of God's benevolence, His initiative, and His willingness to give peace and goodwill to all.
 
From our perspective, Jesus is the reason for the season, but from His perspective, we are His reason for the season.  Just as we make it all about Jesus, He has made it all about us.  That's just the way God is, and when we can believe that and receive that truth, we have met Daddy.  We are home.

You are His reason for it all. 
Let that eternal reality be your guiding star this Christmas.

  150 years from now, none of us reading this post today will be alive. 70 percent to 100 percent of everything we are fighting over right now will be totally forgotten. Underline the word, TOTALLY.    I am grateful for: -My family -God's faithfulness. -  For the grace that He has us (in the ministry) that we would continue despite real challenging seasons.  -For the new future leaders, missionary revivalists- artists, to be equipped.. at Campus Ministry... our growing community.  - New connections, new friendships, new relationships, and new beginnings. - Keeping in-touch with the students and youths - Being reunited with my missionary friends after a decade  -To the one who supports me financially both in ministry and missions. -Travelling mercies, for the road ahead is always different and sometimes unexpected. -Friends who pray with me for me in big and small ways!  -And more!
