The Season is Changing!

Image
We are now in the process of change; the church is poised to undergo some dramatic changes. While we understand that there are some real moves of God occurring in different places around the world, the church as a whole has reached a plateau and in order to go on to the next level God has in store for the church, change is inevitable. Change is not easy as it requires faith and an element of risk . What worked over the last decade will not work in the next decade. There is a lot of praise in church services but virtually no worship, and that which is designated as worship is often just another form of praise. The worship in the seventies was far greater than most of what we see today. The church has lost the art of worship in its eage...

Don’t be afraid of Increase!

Image
Don’t be afraid of Increase! When you plant a seed, you expect a harvest.   When you work, you expect compensation. When you invest, you expect economic growth. When you marry, you expect children. When you seek medical help, you expect improvement. When you do a good job, you expect recognition or a promotion. When you sell your house, you expect a profit. True appreciation of God should fill us with a sense of wonder and thankfulness each day of our lives as opposed to an unthankful attitude (Romans 1:21).  Our thankfulness barometer should be full every day and our capacity to be thankful should be increasing every year. This thankfulness also extends to areas beyond our understanding – in everything give thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18).  There are two roads in growing older each year: the road of complaining and depression or the road of thankfulness and cheer. b. How much more of God have we grown to know? Eternal life is knowing God (John 17:3). This growth is propelled by a desire to know Him and to seek Him. Unfortunately, in this temporal world it requires a quality decision to seek God which involves an element of diligen...
